Let me start by saying- i was a firm ncl cruiser...family wanted to take a short cruise for a family reunion (first ever) most had never been on a cruise - i talked them into this short ncl/sky cruise stating - we can't go wrong...boy was i wrong!
The processes of getting on the ship was seamless (yay) that's been the best part of the trip. very old ship with lots of room for improvement....however, that was not an issue, as long as, they can keep it clean (hence, that was the issue!) room had dirty sheets- we had to call the supervisor. Not one dinner/breakfast or lunchcame hot or even warm to the table! I was in contact with group reservations for our dinner because there was 21 of us- right up to sailing date (with emails to prove our conversation and they still didn't even have the seating or time correct...even after they said they corrected it with me in front of them every day it was wrong (smh). They tried to give us candy and $1.99 bottle of wine- really? Our drinks were included in the cost of the cruise!
The staff was a training staff for sure and if not- they should be ashamed! If you are going to use your ship for training- i think a deep discount needs to apply and the guest need to be made aware- let them choose before taking their only vacation on someone else training class! The cruise director is beyond anything i've ever experience and hope to never experience again. Again- some things on cruise are not for the young or easily offended.....but, he takes that to another level of not even sanitary - men and women taking off their panties/bra and underwear- where we sit - to eat and drink daily. The say everyone needs to get sprayed and i 100% agree with that- however, you do the most non-sanitized thing in common areas? This staff/suprv and management team needs the health department to step in (call has been made) and their heads examined!
