We boarded the ship at Trieste where l have to say was very disorganised, whether it was due to the hurricane strength winds l don't know. Anyway after boarding we went straight to our cabin which was the largest inside cabin we've had. It was lovely and clean with plenty of storage. There we met our steward who was very polite and cheerful. After we had the safety drill we went to explore and l have to say we loved it. After cruising with Princess & Royal Carribean we found it highly decorated which was a nice change, plenty to look at.

The staff were all nationalities with most speaking English. They were all cheerful, polite & helpful. Also other passengers with a range of nationlities instead of just American & British was nice. We went for 2nd sitting dinner and again were blown away with the quality of the food, for what we paid it was outstanding. We didn't go on excursions as we could walk off the ship at most ports. The only criticism is that it was a bit too warm in our cabin although we had ac on lowest setting. After reading previous reviews I don't know what people want!?! we enjoyed our cruise thoroughly. It wasn't the usual stuffy, people looking down their nose at you cruise, it was fun, easy going, relaxing and we will definitly go with Costa again.
