Overall, the cruise was fine. Coming from New York State in the winter, far be it for me to criticize a 7 day stay in the Caribbean.

Service. Very uneven. We ate all breakfasts and lunches in the Lido - our preference as we love the fresh fruits and vegetables, don't eat meat, like eating outdoors, and have no desire to be served. These meals were terrific for us. There are ethnic entrees, made to order omelettes, ice cream cones, and on and on. The problem: most of the staff spoke no English, so we had trouble getting any information such as the time that omelettes are available. Also, smiles were few and far between - the staff seemed pained. I don't have any desire to have a relationship with the staff, but any who were asked questions seemed really put out.

Late Seating Dining. Excellent service, fun servers for our regular table. Ate once 'as you like' and our table was virtually ignored. We finally went to get our regular server! Presentation of food great, but quite bland. Again, we don't eat meat so I am referring only to the non-meat food, of which there was plenty.

Cabin Review

Narrow - had to stand sideways if passing each other in the room, beds hard, boring decorating, TV channels limited and reception poor, hard to believe the ship was 7 months old - looked worn and/or older.
