We are a couple in our fifties and this was our first ever cruise. It was the 7 night Western Mediterranean Cruise from Barcelona > Naples > Rome > Pisa> Cannes > Palma (though we couldn't dock there due to the weather) then back to Barcelona. Our holiday included the Ultimate Beverage Package and it was well worth it. We were well impressed. The embarkation process was quick and simple. From the moment we boarded the ship we were greeted by friendly, helpful staff who couldn't do enough to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The food was superb, drinks were quality - the selection available was impressive; I like a glass of red wine and there were lots of delicious wines available.

The ship is immaculate and there are plenty of staff keeping it nice and clean, and always on hand for service. The entertainment was great; Priscilla Queen of the Desert was just like being at a London Broadway show. Soul Sensation (four mowtown singers) were simply sensational - went to see them 3 times! Graffiti Classics were so funny. The band that played in the Cavern Club were great too. There is so much to do on board with lots of choice; bars, restaurants, lounges, quiet areas, water park, bowling alley etc.

We had stateroom 12020 (on deck 12) with a balcony and it was very comfortable indeed. Disembarking at ports of call was very well organised and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and returned home feeling very relaxed having had a great holiday. Thank you Norwegian Cruise Lines!!!!
