This was my 2nd Carnival Cruise (4th overall - with others being Disney) and we went with a group of friends. Our last Carnival cruise ship (2012 - 5 night Western Caribbean) was the Carnival Legend and honestly I didn't find this ship to be much different other than some decor. Overall, the ship was clean (although visible rusty in many areas). our cabin was nice, ship was easy to get around and the service was great, as usual. Food was just ok. I was very dissapointed by the Lido Buffets - food quality just average; Dinner at night was much better. We did eat at Scralett's Steakhouse one night and the food and service were great...well worth it.

The Ports:

1) Nassau - We shopped briefly but having to be back at the ship by 1:30 didn't leave us much time to do things like visit Atlantis. We spent most of our time at Senior Frogs and that was a blast. The atmosphere was very lively and we enjoyed it. Food & drinks were ok, but overpriced. However, service was good and you are rally paying for the atmosphere.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8F

Cabin was shared by 2 adults, 2 children. The fit was tight but we had enough room for all of our belongings, luggage storage and bathroom needs. Beds were surprisingly comfortable, as were the pillows. The balcony was nice to have. My only complaint was that the TV was tiny! Not that I used it much but when I did, the TV was just really small - a slightly bigger one would have been better. 2nd issue was that there were NO standard outlets in the bathroom! We all had to share 1 outlet in the cabin near the mirror when blow drying hair, etc. Why no outlet in the bathroom? (Disclaimer: There was an international voltage outlet in the bathroom but unless you have a conversion kit, you can't use it, unless your electronics have international plugs etc. Had I known this maybe I would have brought a conversion kit and been able to use.)
