We were doing the Singapore to Hong Kong 10 day cruise and as first time cruisers looking forward to it but not knowing what to expect.
The ship is an older one that has had a refit not long ago. While waiting to embark they had computer problems ( well that's what we assumed) and we waited with no one telling us what was going on in a hall with little air conditioning for about 40 minutes with more and more people crowding in as there arrival times arrived. they finally got it sorted and after that smooth sailing as they say.
On-board activity's were poor and badly timed and sometimes expensive $33.00 USD for 6 bingo cards???
Clean and neat but very noisy from the cafe upstairs
Took our chances after being warned not to take local transport and did so anyway and had a great day out. went to proper market and several temples and had lunch at a french restaurant on a beautiful beach. cost $60 USD for both including lunch
