The NCL Dawn was a great host to us for the week we were onboard. Everything was really nice, and it was great to see such an extravagant atrium (which was decorated with New Years themed flare!). Also, the staff was so nice and helpful. They were always trying to help us out, and we really got to develop a relationship with our stewardess! They even through a massive party on New Years where there were a plethora of options about how to spend and celebrate the evening. The entertainment onboard was really amazing, as the nightly shows (highlighted by the few times we got to see the Second City) were high quality and then the follow up shows in the lounge were really exciting and engaging.

The only issues were that the buffet seemed to be half closed at most times which made getting food slightly awkward, and that the rooms are a little on the smaller side. The features of the ship are really nice though, as the pool deck is beautiful, and I absolutely loved walking on the promenade. While this ship lacks some of the newer and more extravagant features of NCL's other ships, it has plenty to offer for everyone.

Cabin Review

Balcony

The room was a little bit on the smaller side, yet it still had everything we needed. The decorations were really nice and the balcony was pretty big (so we spent a lot of time out there). The bathroom was oddly shaped though, as it was broken into three separate parts that just felt weird.

Port Reviews

Costa Maya

This tour was great! The guides were very knowledgeable and had plenty of information to share. The ride to and from the ship was a little annoying, but the tour itself was still really amazing. However, it is also easy to spend the day at the port because there is so much to do there!

Belize City

The tour was short, but really informational and had great picture opportunities. They also gave out free plantains!
