It was a thanksgiving week so that may have been the problem according to Constellation previous cruisers and we were a couple not family. I had been on the Reflection the week before which was great and Summit last year which was better than Constellation in MHO. When boarding, there seemed to be some confusion as to where we should go. The boarding area didn't compare to Miami. The common areas looked beat and had an odor. Rugs need to be repaired or replaced in a few areas.

The oceanview cafe was not opened and when it was, the people on board acted like they had never had a meal before. The food was subpar compared to other cruises . We were in Aqua class and really never saw the room steward the first day. The next day they came by in the afternoon. We didn't know what was going on around the ship, and had to request certain items that had been in our stateroom on the previous cruises, both in Aqua. The first person we met on last 2 cruises were the room Stewards The soundproofing on the 11th floor was not as good as other 2 ships. Heard people in their cabins, bathrooms and playing basketball overhead. Was tolerable though.

In Blu, the food and service was better than the buffet which was not good and we are not food snobs. Food was good but not great. The maitre'd was excellent. Wait staff seemed a little overwhelmed. As the week went on, the organization of the oceanview cafe became better but even the last day, they ran out of coffee and asked one of the staff and he looked at me and shrugged his shoulder. Cafe Bacio was very good and so was the Tuscan Grill. I felt like it was the first cruise for most of the staff. They seemed beat down which I am sure this doesn't help their morale but maybe someone could lift their spirits.
