Other than having to be at our local airport at 0 dark 30 to make our connections, it went flawlessly! In many cases, the only way to fly within the state, is to fly out of the state first - normally to Atlanta first.

When we landed, we went to the baggage area and the Carnival people were there to direct us to the proper bus. The driver loaded our luggage and we didn't see it again until it arrived in our room.

At the cruise terminal, embarkation went well. Signage could have been a bit more visible, but not an issue. Going through security and inprocessing took little to no time at all and we were on board and having lunch before noon. The food and service on the luncheon buffet was excellent.

Cabin Review

Cabin 8 H

It was a standard balcony room: 3 closets, vanity, frig, couch, coffee table; bathroom with tiny shower, and standard vanity. It had an extended balcony with 2 chairs - one was a recliner. The location was wonderful - quiet and relaxing with no obstructions to our view of the ocean and stars! TIP: we like a quiet room, so we always book a room sandwiched between two bedroom decks.
