We are experienced cruisers and have elite status with Princess, Royal Caribbean, and Celebrity. We have always recommended Celebrity as the best cruise liner to everyone. It had been 5 years since we've cruised on Celebrity. We've mainly used Princess and Royal Caribbean.

We were expecting excellent service, activities and food. We were shocked at how much Celebrity had changed. We weren't sure if it's Constellation or Celebrity in general.

The staff was reduced significantly. It took 25-30 minutes to get a drink at a bar. The buffet area have almost no service staff. They just cleared the table. Did not interact or ask us if we needed anything. The food was not as good as we remembered. The activities were significantly reduced. They used to have all sorts of activities at the same time that were a lot of fun. (i.e. water color painting, napkin folding, flower arranging, multiple music trivia, brain games, etc.) There were only 2 music trivia, and the DJ that ran it complained the whole time that he didn't do trivia. He kept messing up the music and the number we were on.
