We flew into Miami the day before. Took a cab to the Hyatt Regency, Coral Gables, that we booked with Price Line. The room and service was fantastic. The bed had a plush pillowtop mattress. No problems sleeping here. Arrived pretty late and we were tired so we decided to go for room service. I ordered a sandwich which was served on a homemade bread roll, delicious. The next morning we ate at the Hotels Restaurant and was not disappointed. The staff directed us to the nearest Publix grocery store where we walked a couple blocks to and got some soda and wine for the cruise.

Took a taxi to the Port. We had VIP status, so after the initial line to enter the building, it only took us 10 minutes to board the ship.

First thing, we hit the Lido deck and found a chair since we read it was really hard to find a seat. That proved true for the rest of the trip. I was finding myself getting very angry over this. I can't believe they didn't have enough chairs for everyone.

Cabin Review

Cabin 11

We had a suite, very roomy, beautiful bath with shower door and jetted tub. Nice makeup counter outside the bathroom. We had a frige but it was packed with small bottles of liquor and we didn't have any room for our stuff. we did move some of it around to make room for our soda. Lights in closet came on when they were opened, pretty cool. Used the couch to throw our junk on everyday. There was only two of us, so we really didn't need the extra area. We had a quiet location, but was far from the activities on ship so we had to walk and walk and walk to everywhere on the ship. Oh well, we didn't gain any weight this trip like some have said. Didn't use the elevators much.

You never seen the room stewards go in your room, but you sure knew when they had came. They kept the room emaculate.

Could have used a few more hangers, otherwise we were really pleased with our room.

We didn't use our balcony a whole lot since the weather wasn't all that great. It was either very windy or misting rain.
