We sailed on Carnival Freedom over Thanksgiving week to Belize, Honduras (Mohagany Bay), and Cozumel. This is our 3rd Carnival cruise, but 1st week long. The best addition to this cruise was Guy's Burgers! Cruise food is always good and unlimited, but, besides the unique sit down dinner dishes this was the best food on the ship. The cruise director was Jase and he was very visible and high energy There was some rain and shows were moved around to make sure there was still plenty to do indoors. Our room steward was excellent, very visible, and did an excellent job of refreshing the cabin even when we were out for only a short time. We had late dinner service and it was delicious with a great balance of expected dishes such as pork chops and steak and unique dishes such as frog legs and oysters rockefeller.

The shows were EXTREMELY high energy, and the music appealed to the adults as well as teens in our group. They changed performing groups at the end of our cruise and both groups were equally excellent.

Two bonuses: we were able to get a last minute balcony upgrade by calling carnival, and also after buying 10 pictures they have an offer to put them all on a ship shaped jump drive for $1 each. I will definitely take advantage of these each cruise going forward.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8C

We all agreed this is the exact cabin we want every time. The balcony gave the room the feel of being larger. Also we were on top of the main theater and had no problems with noise in our room.
