I'll be honest: based on the reviews I read on this board, I was expecting this cruise to be so-so at best. Instead, I found myself having a wonderful time, really enjoying the ship and crew. My travel companions and I (who ranged from having taken 5 previous cruises to 40 previous cruises) could not figure out why this ship had such bad reviews. We all loved it!
The good times started with the embarkation process. It was so easy at Port Canaveral. We almost couldn't believe how easy it was. Painless and simple. A great start!
Although it took some getting used to, we came to really like the set up of the ship. While at first it seems a little choppy, it ended up being just fine. It was nice that there were so many options for dining and entertainment. Although there were plenty of people on the ship, nothing ever seemed extraordinarily crowded and crowds never stopped us from doing anything that we wanted to do.
Cabin Review
Interior
Our room was fine, nothing terrible but nothing spectacular. My only complaint is that because our room was above the casino, there was a faint smoke smell in our room on occasion. If you are really sensitive about that sort of thing, you might want to pick a different room. Otherwise, the room was good. It was clean and everything worked. We always had hot water and a comfortable bed.

We explored the fortress at San Cristobal on our own. It was fascinating and way larger than I expected.
Grand Turk
The weather was iffy on our day in port. We walked down the beach and spent a bit of time relaxing before heading back to the ship. The water was beautiful.
