This was our 29th cruise, my wife and I enjoy cruising and have enjoyed every one of them until this one. Our room steward was for the most part not to be found. We had to go out into the hallways to get towels on a couple occasions and ran out of tissues. Room was halfway made up one afternoon and the ship had a drill for the crew and he must of forgot to come back because he didn't come back until the next day at 4PM. Ice was only delivered once a day about 1/4 full. I used one of the two glasses the 2nd day he took it put never replaced it so we had one glass for the two of us to share. We were traveling with friends and they had towel animals and mints on the bed every night we on the other hand had them 2 nights. We were to get pins but never did. I think the earliest our room was made up was 1PM the entire cruise. On the bright side the specialty restaurants were good and the waiters were also very good. The Buffet was a nightmare food was subpar and seating was hard to find. For a new ship it was in bad upkeep and repair, rust on balcony, and a sofa that had 3 very noticeable stains on the seat that looked like somebody preferred using it instead of the bed. We put towels on it to sit, GROSS . We had a terrible 7 days couldn't wait to get off and wouldn't recommend this ship to anyone. In May we were on the Gem and enjoyed it and have another NCL booked Dec. 5th on the Spirt. If it's anything like the Breakaway this will be our last NCL cruise. Wish us luck !!!

Spirt depending on the outcome this could be the last cruise on NCL.
