My husband and I decided to try this cruise as an introduction to cruising. We read reviews and understood that this was an older boat and did not have all of the bells and whistles of some of the newer ships. We really enjoyed our cruise and will probably now try another one. I have also recommended this one to several friends. The ship was very nice and the crew were exceptional. We enjoyed the entertainment, activities and walking all around the decks. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The food was fabulous - good taste, good variety and plenty of it! It was very easy to check in at Port of Palm Beach and Freeport. We decided to spend 2 nights in the Bahamas and that was very nice as well. The only downside to this trip would be that there is no shopping right at the port and our hotel was not near shopping either, so we had very little opportunity for looking for souvenirs. We booked the jeep tour of the island and enjoyed that. The weather did not allow for snorkeling, which would have been our first choice for activities on the island. We stayed at the Viva Fortuna resort which was nice, but I would recommend staying at the Grand Lucayan which is closer to the port, closer to Freeport and closer to shopping.
