The food is wonderful, don't see why people opt to eat at the speciality restaurants as the food can't be any taster and for $30 plus 18% would not be worth it. They force you to pay 18% on anything you get, i.e. if you go up to the pool bar and get a draw beer, he will fill your glass and you have to pay an extra 18%--nickel dime you on everything. Only one lecture that was very good, Alan Scriber gave 8 different days on investments and the markets. In room TV had movies but few choices, re-run after re-run. From the time we left Bacelona the news stations were BBC and Skynew, no USA channels. Many quests complained about that but to no avail. The smoke smell coming for the casino was terrible and if filtered up in to the area leading to it. A couple of good shows, but the temperature in the stage area was very cold. No real information about the ports we were going to visit, on other cruises they give detailed information on what to see and do and history of the place we were to visit. He you just had to read and book a tour. People would get up early and place towels on lounge chairs hogging them for most of the day-sometimes for 2-3 hours before they used them. Internet service is expensive and very slow--sometimes 5 to 6 minutes to get on email. Have been on other NCL cruises which were much better than this ship.
Wonderful city, spent 5 days on our own--no need for a tour
place to go in by yourself--easy to walk and friendly people
just another nice warm island--
another nice island just to get off and walk around,
one island is like all the rest
taxi to town expensive and if you are not interested in jewelry, watches etc it is just another island. This cruise let us both know that a cruise to the islands out of FLa is not for us.
