Between the grumpy pushy crowds, name calling drunks in the elevators, persistent upselling EVERYWHERE... this was not a good experience. Other contributors talked about the unavailability of shows, how about if the shows were consistently rescheduled for a variety of reasons - so even IF you made good reservations for dinner, you often had to change them because your showtime changes often several times a day.

We're Emerald members, and were traveling with my parents. They are elderly and have trouble walking long distances. With that in mind we made sure there was a wheelchair in their stateroom - which helped a little. However, the very long wait times for elevators was often upsetting to them - as they worried about getting to the shows and dinner reservations on time. The noise level was beyond their tolerance level, and they found it sometimes hard to get across their needs. (like asking for more coffee or bread when no waiters were to be found.)

For my husband and myself, we were sad there wasn't a show every night (like on other cruises), or the fact that there no longer was the kind of care we had received on other RCI cruises - from the wait-staff in the restaurant, or the behind the counter folks in any of the shops. Our experience with the Chef's Table dinner was disappointing. I could have purchased a filet mignon in any of the other restaurants on board, and all the other courses were lacking the spectacular flare of earlier cruises. Bingo in the ice rink was awkwardly hard to play. Photos are excruciatingly expensive - almost $18 each depending upon the sizing and package.
