Loved every moment onboard Anthem of the Seas! We drove from Michigan and did a park and cruise 1 night stay at the Country Inn and Suites. The hotel offered us a 1 night stay, parking for 13 nights and a shuttle to/from the port. Rate was 282.00. This rate included transfers for 2 people. The hotel charges $35.00 for each add'l guest for round trip transfers. There is a large outlet mall within walking distance from the hotel. Be forewarned the hotel is being updated. As of our stay I didn't see anything updated yet. Corridors are worn, rooms outdated. This is not a crisp, clean, ultra modern hotel, however if you are not spending much time in your room it is tolerable. A note on the transfers, they cannot be pre-arranged, they are space available. We checked in at 4:30 and the earliest we could get was 10:30. If you arrive at the hotel later, you might be arriving to the ship later than your check-in appointment time.

The traffic lines were long to the ship. We arrived at the Cape Liberty Cruise Terminal at 11:30. After a short wait giving our luggage to the porters, we were quickly checked in and walking aboard this beautiful ship.

I cannot say enough how impressed I was with Anthem of the Seas and the Quantum Class. The ship is beautiful and spotless. The attention to detail is abundant everywhere. 270 Lounge is unbelievable both by day as an observation lounge and at night. There are endless opportunities for snacks, entertainment and dining options which are one of my favorite features of cruising on Quantum Class.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D5

Well designed and well kept. The balcony and stateroom easily can accommodate 3 people. Loved the night lighted bathroom. Excellent storage space in the stateroom and bath room.
