Overall:

Let's face it. Grandeur is a 20 year old ship. As such, it looks, well, "old and tired". Peeling paint, constant maintenance by the crew during the cruise, worn and ripped seats in the theater, a lackluster dining room decor - all this takes away from the overall experience. To be fair, my husband and I have cruised a total of 8 times - 4 with RC, 3 with Carnival, and one with Celebrity (an RC subsidiary). As such, we have a lot to compare it to. In my opinion you choose a cruise based on the ship - not the cruise line. I have heard fabulous things about the larger ships such as the Allure, Oasis, etc. Now for the specifics.

Interior Stateroom

Cabin M

Close to the Centrum area which was very loud at night. This didn't bother us, however it may bother others.
