I just got off a week long trip on the Disney Fantasy Cruise today (Saturday). This cruise line went to Mexico, Jamaica, Cayman Cay and Castaway Cay. I traveled with a group of 9 people and the youngest were 4 and 2, the rest were adults. I think that the kids had a magical on in a lifetime experience from seeing all their favorite Disney princesses and characters. I personally loved having strawberry/banana/chocolate ice cream, LOL! Then at our restaurants we had the most awesome team on board; their names were LaTroy and Dennis from Jamaica and the manager, Titziana from Italy. They kept us entertained and happy the entire trip. They went above and beyond with the even the smallest things like knowing our drinks, giving us recommendations on the menus, having fruit ready for the kids and many other things.

The entertainment was amazing with activities every hour of the day. Seeing movies, character shows, Disney movie shows and some adult activities for the rest of us were great all around. We went out to port at each country and we shopped and went to the pool or beach. The room was comfy and felt like home for the week. Room service was great at keeping the room spotless and making the adorable towel animals were a special touch along with the chocolates on the bed. Although there were some choppy waters after leaving Jamaica, I was able to relax that night. Getting off the ship was easier than getting on board, LOL, I didn't mind the wait because I was too excited to care. Overall, it was one of the best weeks that I've ever had! 5 stars from me.!

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Relaxed, unpacked, I got lunch at the Cabanas buffet (loved the endless amounts of different types of foods and the all day ice cream!

Cozumel

I went shopping on port and ate with my friend at a authentic taco stand. My best friend and her husband have been to Cozumel before and reunited with a local couple and we ate at their restaurant. Although the local people were kinda pushy with trying to sell us stuff, we went for the free earrings and necklace charms. I did get some beautiful handmade bracelets, one was personally made with my name of it we got a video and a picture of him.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We had to take a tender to the island and it's a beautiful place. We didn't get to do much but we did a little shopping and took the tender back.

Falmouth

We shopped a little here too. The taxis were too expensive to go to a beach but we went to Margaritaville instead. The kids went in the pool for a bit and the adults had a drink and relaxed. But one of the adults in my group lost her glasses and we looked everywhere from the ship to Jamaica then her and I decided to go back the Margaritaville to look again. One of the waitress found them and held onto them in case we came back and sure enough, those were the lost glasses! So she was very thankful for them finding her glasses.

Castaway Cay

It got rained out that day and we didn't get a chance to go back to enjoy the bbq they had for everyone so it was a disappointment. I'm giving this port a 4 because the kids got to get in the water, my best friend and I got a picture with Donald Duck and Jack Sparrow (cool) and because the island was beautiful.
