After reading previous reviews of the ship, our expectations were very low. This was our 29th cruise and 3rd with Princess. I had sworn them off after our last cruise on the Crown, but the price and convenience for a quick get-away was alluring.

The boarding process was great. We showed up at prime time, waited in a line for maybe 5 minutes, got our boarding number, waited less than 10 and we were aboard. Cabin was ready along with the flowers that we ordered. Went to grab a quick lunch and adult beverage and went back to room where baggage was there.

We had cabin R215 on deck 14, forward veranda. It was a good size, perfect location, clean and tons of hanging space and I mean a ton. Steward was perfunctory, room was always clean and not as quick to have ready in the morning was we would like, but not an inconvenience in any way. Tip: get the foam mattress cover, it makes the bed way more comfortable.
