Just returned from a transatlantic cruise on MSC Divina and I must say I was most dissatisfied with the experience. while MSC can not be held responsible for the weather, the areas they do have control over need urgent attention. Food varied from night to night in the "Villa Rose" restaurant, some nights excellent others poor. In an 17 night cruise I can only remember 4 nights entertainment in the theatre that were of an exceptional standard. Most nights were a repeat of previous nights dressed up in a different guise and often lasted little more than 35 minuets. Shore excursions were invariably late departing by up to an hour and allways MSC had an excuse and refused to take any responsability. In fact critism was something they did not want to know about, invariably it was you who were wrong if you found fault. Being talked down to by staff in the reception area and the excursion office seems to be the norm. The best and most rememberable moments of the cruise are of the people I met and made friends with from around the world. fortunatly MSC could not mess that up. I have travled with an number of cruise lines and would have no difficulty returning to them again but this was my first and last time with MSC.
