Background: We traveled as two couples having spent many vacations and cruises together...so this review shares the consensus of the 4 of us as a group. We were booked for adjacent Crown Loft Suites. We also had per-purchased almost every package available...Ultimate drink package, 2 suite water packages and 2 internet packages. We were determined to splurge and not to miss or want for anything. We also paid a lot of money to ensure this.

We arrived in Fort Lauderdale on Friday evening and stayed at the Riverside Hotel on Friday and Saturday nights before the cruise. Nice hotel, nice staff, excellent breakfasts in the Indigo restaurant. Our best breakfasts of the trip were in the Indigo. The Fort Lauderdale Boat Show was going on this particular weekend and the couple we travel with are "boaters" so the show was great for them. Fort Lauderdale was busy, busy. But our two days/nights were are great preclude to a cruise.

Sunday we arrived at Port Everglades at about 11:15 and quickly went through the Suite Guest's Customs line and were sent to a holding are where Suite guests could wait. We were allowed to start boarding the ship just after 12:00 PM. We immediately went up to Deck 17 and entered the Suite Lounge which is attached to the Coastal Kitchen (which both are only available to Suite guests or high ranking Crown and Anchor members.) As soon a we could (30 minutes) we used one of the two private concierges to book private restaurants, shows, excursions and other stuff. One nice perk for buying Suites.

Cabin Review

Crown Loft Suite with Balcony

Cabin L1

Crown Loft Suite. This place was everything we could have hoped for and more. Spacious, clean, two stories with the master bedroom upstairs. The upstairs bathroom had a large two person shower with 3 shower heads. The downstairs bathroom had a normal shower and plenty of mirror and counter space. Living with separate bathrooms for a couple was absolutely delightful!!! We had a private deck (small but fine) and a living space that was open and spacious. A desk, counter space, a couch with a fold out bed, a large screen TV! We even had a TV upstairs a the foot of our bed that dropped from the ceiling. Plus plenty of closet space for 2. I put my stuff downstairs and wife used the upstairs bathroom and closet. Wonderful! 5* for our Suite!!!
