This was our third cruise on the Magic and to be honest we have very few negatives. This was our 8th cruise and we went alone. We are in our 60's. I was a little sad that none of our family was going on this one but we loved every minute. We live in the Houston area so had an easy drive out, dropped off our luggage and parked across the street at Galveston Park n Cruise. Walked back over and was on the ship by about noon. Quick and easy. We had a great hamburger and was able to get to our cabin at 1:30. Our luggage was delivered before sailing.

All of our personal staff were excellent, friendly and very accommodating. We had an extra cooler (I Always take diet Dr Pepper and ginger ale) and they kept it full of ice for me. Love the roominess of a balcony cabin. Lots of storage space. I always found the staff cleaning throughout the ship and felt it was very clean.

We went to the dining room every night and most mornings. No complaints at all. We ate plenty of steak and beef throughout the week and it was always cooked just right - medium rare! I have thought about the American Table menu and have decided we like it. There were always "something different" choices - which we liked - but we also liked the "normal" options offered! We were seated with two other couples close to our age and we really hit it off well. Love the deli sandwiches, seaside bbq, and other choices throughout the ship. Every morning we ordered coffee, tea and muffins from room service and they were delivered exactly on time every day! First cruise we have had it this well.

Lots of storage. Very clean. Bed is a little firm for me but they added some extra padding. Lots of lighting and mirrors. Bring extra hangers if you like to hang everything up.
