My wife and I have just got back from our honeymoon and we chose to cruise with Princess Cruise line. We took a 10 day cruise on the Royal Princess ship. We were looking forward to this cruise for various reasons. We had heard that this cruise line would be perfect for our honeymoon. However, we were very disappointed with the way it turned out. We purchased a suite with a balcony for our special occasion. Upon arriving in our room we learned the refrigerator did not work properly. We contacted room service and notified our cabin steward. The refrigerator was on but was not blowing cold air. They came out that day but still did not fix the refrigerator. We called them again the next day and came back to the room but still had no results. At this point, we never expected to happen because they could not fix it the first two days.

On the second day we ate at the buffet and was disappointed to learn that the food was not hot. It seem that everything we ate was warm or at room temperature. Also, when the waiter came to get drink orders, we order milk and orange juice. When the glasses finally arrived at our table the drinks were warm. I have never drank warm milk before and I thought maybe they were just busy at that time. However, throughout our time on the ship we received the drinks the same way. At this point, we started ordering our milk and juice with ice in our glasses. We could not eat the cereal since the milk was so warm. I am not sure if temperatures on food and drinks are being checked properly because I own a restaurant and my health inspector will not allow this temperature of food items to be served.

At breakfast I requested a glass of chocolate milk and they brought me hot chocolate. When they arrived to my table with the hot chocolate I informed them that I ordered chocolate milk not hot chocolate. At that point, they told me that hot chocolate was all they had and they do not have chocolate milk. I have never heard of a restaurant that serves breakfast to not have chocolate milk. I was very disappointed.

Princess Cays

Very Beautiful!!! You have to take a tender but the water was beautiful!

St. Thomas

Our tour guide was helpful he gave us plenty of time at each place to look around. We went to the very top of the mountain and up top is a huge gift shop. We then went back into town to the skyride which isn't what you would expect. Its a very short ride but once your at the top there is a restaurant with a complimentary drink and a few more shops. The look out is still beautiful!

Barbados

Nothing like I expected!! I thought it would be like Antigua and would be very poor, but the port is not!!! We heard of a certain part of the beach were it was not crowded and it was about a half mile walk. Once we found it the walk was worth it! The sand was soft and the water was so clear. We even saw horse trainers come in the water with their horses to swim. We stayed for 3 hours then went shopping. The island buildings are beautiful and are very similar to the architect of the UK. The shopping was nice very everything from expensive taste to the economic side.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

The island port was very nice. It still looked new! Some of the places you were able to bargain with and every store had the same thing. We didn't get to see any of the island because of a storm that came early that afternoon.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

This is just were we flew in and hoped on the plane. We did eat at this amazing place called Pollo Tropical and if you go at the wrong times you will have to wait but its worth it!
