A friend of mine mentioned he and his wife were going to celebrate their 30th anniversity & my wife and me were coming up on our 25th anniversity. So we decided to surprise her and take our first time ever cruise to theBahamas. My friends had never met my wife prior to (Co workers). We planned to get her on board with out her knowing she was going on cruise. I had paid for it via a Walmart credit card and had my daughter help her pack for "Charleston week" we kept telling her we would be there the whole week and then over dinner my Friend Joe and Karen mentioend how his cousin "Larry" was retiring from the first mate position and it was a big deal, so Joe Karen and I also told her we were going to a bed and breakfast place Sunday check in at 3:30 but we were going to Larry's retirement party that moring, Joe and I reloaded the luggage and came back to pick up the girls. Well Joe and Karen went in front of us and would tell each point the fast version that it was our first cruise and we would be going to "Larrry's retirement party" and they would say, have a great time at Larry's party. We even had Joe pay for the parking in front of us so when we pulled up they said oh don't worry Larry already has you covered, have a great time at the party. Joe and Karen managed to stay just enough ahead of us so when we got up to a check point they would smile and say, have a goodtime at the party!

Once we made it into the atrium one of the crew members walked up to us and asked are you Emily? She said yes, she said. Congratulations your going to the Bahamas! The ship was awsome, the cabin stewad "Poe" ( E152) was great he did extra stuff for us, iced down the water bottles and made sure we had silverware and plaplate for our anniversity cake and was super happy all the time. The dining room waiter (Hari) was too good to us, he was always dancing and singing to himmself, really made the experience special. ( he kept bringing out food we lmuch) Wow did he take good care of us, he was over the top; service . It was the best service I have ever had at any resturant. Kunyakorn was extremely friendly and gave us terrific service there too. Every single service person was never impatient, unbelievable.

We had the best vacation of all time on the Carnival Fantasy cruise ship Nov 8-13-2015. The Bahamas. Private island dolphin swim and beach day and all inclusive reef snorkel beach shopping excursions. They were excellent - we enjoyed them tremendously! Great job! The cruiseship crew really made this so great, that was the best part of the trip; everyone was so nice, from the boarding to debarking this was the best trip we had ever had. Very cool! Keeping this a secret for 6 months was hard. Our travel agent kept me up to speed with deals and was great! Read more
