Fall Foliage Cruise. Spent an extra day in Boston as it was our first time there. Very interesting city. Bus to Gloucester to board the ship. Only 96 pax instead of the full capacity of 210 pax which facilitated embarkation etc. Very good food and wine and meal service throughout the cruise. Good-sized comfortable stateroom with balcony an extra feature. Even the bathroom was quite good. Good housekeeping staff as well. Many onboard were sea-sick during one full day at sea under less than ideal weather conditions but the crew handled the situation well.

Generally speaking, the tours were not really to our liking; too much time on buses and some destinations of limited interest, but the destinations themselves were good. Limited destination info provided, and we found that the briefings provided by the onboard expert/guide were of limited use. Evening entertainment by two musicians also of limited interest. Wifi was slow and at times did not work at all.Two good quality elliptals & 2 exercise bikes were on board but did not work due to prolonged exposure to sea air. Free weights were available but only in 3, 5 & 8 lb barbells.

Overall an excellent return to cruising after so many years. Pearl Seas did a good job.
