Booked this cruise less than a week before we departed and had a great time. Had no problems at all with embarkation but then again our line was a little bit shorter than the other lines. Pays to be a return cruiser.
The Star is a smaller ship but provided great service. Everything was great from the food to the entertainment. We ate all our evening meals in the Aqua dining room. Much more intimate than the Versailles. All of our late breakfasts were done at O' Sheehan's Bar & Grill. It has a limited menu but the food was very good and the service was very friendly.
We did not book any excursions on this cruise because I think we have done all the ones offered. Just getting to the exit ramp was a pain but nothing we could not live with.
The cabin was very small and it felt even smaller with the spare bed jutting out from the wall.
Had a very good steward.
