Sail Date: Oct 2015

We sailed from Corfu on October 30th for 10 nights, we were impressed with the cleanliness of the ship, our cabin on deck 6 outside was immaculate, with tv, kettle & fridge, the upper deck by the pools was a bit battered, but very clean. The shows were wonderful though the theatre was dreadful, very restricted views & crushed seating, to get a good view you needed to get there an hour early !! The food was mediocre, in both dining rooms it was served luke warm, the Maitre D told me I should have sent one meal back & whenever I saw him he was very off hand. A lot of the waiting staff are now from Eastern Europe & very curt, in some cases downright rude, the Filipinos & East Asian staff were wonderful as usual.

What really annoys me is the rip_ offs on the ship, drinks prices are exorbitant, even more than hotel prices, I needed some throat sweets, £6 50, for ones that would be about £1 here, I suffered instead.Trips are always expensive, so we did our own thing, wi-fi was £6 for 30 minutes, I usually found a cafe with free wifi.

Fortunately the weather was wonderful, nothing quite like a coffee in the sun in November, when it's pouring down at home.
