OK where do I start? Eclipse is a lovely ship and our recent cruise to the Canaries was one of the best that we had been on.

Dining:

The MDR (Moonlight Sonata) is normally great, very attentive waiters and sommeliers. Menu for dinner is LHside of menu, the same every day i.e. typically shrimp cocktail, French onion soup (delicious but filling), New York Strip etc etc, RHside changes every day, formal nights normally have the lobster tail and chateaubriand. Speciality restaurants are all together in the aft on deck 5, they are all great, Muranos French style gourmet (dessert of strawberries & vanilla ice cream in a thin pancake with a pepper & balsamic vinegar jus all flambéed at the table, exquisite for the taste buds), Qsine very quirky modern style cooking has similarities to Wonderland on the Anthem, Tuscan Grille (our favourite) Italian steakhouse, great steaks, beautiful antipasti and great desserts, all with a view looking through large glass windows of the sea at the rear of the ship.
