Just returned from cruise on Thomson Majesty but had our suitcases combination locks removed somewhere from coach to cabin and items stolen. Spoke to 6 reception staff who, because the first one had written it happened at airport, would not accept they were responsible. As we didn't now have enough clothes to do us for the duration of the cruise I asked for some to be laundered but I had to fight to get them laundered free of charge 'as it wasn't their policy to do so', but even after the head receptionist finally agreed I could also have clothes which were severely crumpled, when others were pulled out from above them, ironed free, they charged this to my bill. She was rude and uncaring and all but called me a lier.

The food was cold and unimpressive, the waiters did not help people with mobility problems, like me, to get their food as other ships do.

My husband had to get my wheelchair for an elderly lady who had just joined the cruise and was unwell while crew in whites were laughing and joking at the bar and waiters passing by unconcerned.

Cabin Review

Cabin Balcony

Cabin was good enough size but I had great difficulty getting into the bathroom as there was a very high step and I can not climb steps . My husband who is fit and mobile also stubbed his toe. Toilet smelled, it looked clean but was freshly cleaned only on 1 occasion. Enjoyed the balcony but drain was blocked and water came into our cabin after thunder storm. Towels were put down at door and sealer round it a couple of days later but drain was not cleared even although we reported it to several people.
