Went on the eastern itinerary for the third time. Specifically went to try out the revised specialty restaurants. I can't speak highly enough about the new Sabor mexican restaurant. It is smaller than I expected and was not full either of the two times we ate there but it should have been based on how good the food was. Giovanni's Table was ok. We went twice and I was disappointed in one of the entrees (the only chicken dish as I recall). It was dry and the flavor did not make up for it. However, the stuffed veal was excellent. Chops was about the same as usual, which is to say above average.

We stayed on deck 6, balcony cabin 6660. Pretty typical cabin fare here. I will say that this cabin had excessive vibrations when the ship was running full speed. It was like being on a cheap motel's vibrating mattress.....but it never shut off! It could be ignored but it was very noticeable compared to other cabin's I've been in on this ship on higher decks.

Also the hallway from our room all the way to the rear elevator stank like a sewer for the entire cruise. Enough to always make you aware of it.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

Sewer smell in the hallway getting to the cabin all week long. Inside the cabin there was no adverse odors. Full sofa in this room was better than one we previously experienced on the ship that was more like a love seat size. The room was quiet but did have an annoying vibration when the ship was a full speed. Felt like I was on a cheap motel's vibrating mattress that never turned off.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

We walked and shopped. The water taxi was $7 round trip.
