We read reviews before embarking on our trip so we knew to keep our expectations in check. Here is what I found to be true-

It is indeed a 30 year old ship. If you are used to cruising on the newer beautiful Caribbean cruises (as I was) keep in mind this ship was not like that at all.

Passport- you surrender you passport when you board. It was nerve wracking for us to do that. It made us worry about going to all these ports in Greece and one in Turkey and being with out it, but really it was fine. Getting it back the night before departure was not a problem. Read more
