Me and my husband have traveled on all cruise lines except Carnival--we took along our mothers and aunts for this trip so they could experience the cruise life. Reading the reviews of some we were a little worried but we did not have the feelings of others as we cruised.
We stayed at the Ramada Inn, Ft Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Terminal-included shuttle from airport, to cruise terminal and breakfast--for the price it was well worth it--not a newer hotel but clean and comfy.
On the ship in less than half hour after arriving at 11:00am-The ship is beautiful-a few years old but if you want the brand new look--book a brand new ship and pay the price. We enjoyed the entertainment and watching those surfing in the flo rider and rock climbing. Service was superb -had Boy and Florentine in the dining room for 6:00 dining and our room steward John did a fabulous job and always greeted us. Visited Haiti, Jamaica and Cayman Islands--great ports and for the most part good weather except Cayman Islands. I'm sure some people blamed Royal Caribbean for the weather too.
Perfect Inside Cabin hidden at end of hallway--no traffic or noise-loved it.
Only 7 of us and guide--went to a resort and left from there to head to stingray city--awesome and much more reasonable than cruise ship excursion
Only went shopping and to Margaritaville
Booked the unlimited ride--great scenery
