First off our cruise had a matienence issue before we ever left. The first day we weren't even allowed to show up to the port till 6pm. We had gotten airline tickets to come to Miami early so that we could spend the day on the ship. So now we had to wonder around Miami for 8 hours trying to find things to do. Not a big deal except the extra expenses in activities/cabs/food.
The check-in process was really bad. We were shoved into a line and not told anything while we waited outside then inside then in a hallway for 4 hours.
The customer service that Royal Caribbean provides is subpar at best. They cannot answer simple questions and provide no help when you have an issue. They treat you basically like you made it happen and its your fault and they don't care.
The city is cool and the local beach is nice. Short walk away is some good history and beautiful areas
The port is ok.
