We returned to the USA this morning, wrapping up an 18-day trip that included 4+ days in Barcelona and then the 13-night transatlantic cruise. We really enjoy the Solstice-class ships and this was no exception.

The semi-annual transatlantic crossing is really nice. Plenty of time to make new friends and experience new places. And love-love-love the six 25-hour days going East to West!! Very smooth seas for us.

Departure from Barcelona -- a lovely city to visit. This was our third visit and we still haven't seen all the main sights. Port was well-designed and an easy taxi ride from center city.

Cabin Review

AquaClass 1

Cabin A1

As noted above, it was a great cabin. Perfect location for what we like to do -- easy walk up to Oceanside Café. We should have chosen a cabin on starboard side for more view of the the Spanish Coast, but we were very happy nonetheless.

Port Reviews

Barcelona

We LOVE Barcelona - so much to do and see and very easy to get around

Lanzarote

We just wandered around the town of Arrecife -- it was OK. Nice lunch on the lagoon in city center.
