My wife and I and another couple took the Enchanted Danube cruise on the River Beatrice by Uniworld. We also did the three pre-cruise nights in Prague and the two post-cruise nights in Budapest. Every aspect of this trip was outstanding, from the hotels pre and post to the River Beatrice itself. The arrangements were excellent, meeting at the airport and being quickly transported to the hotel, the accomodations in first class hotels and the city tours were all well organized and interesting. With ample free time we could explore what we wished and indulge in the local cuisine. On the ship everything was outstanding from the stateroom (small but adequate) to the public rooms, art, and more than anything the staff. Everyone was welcoming and the service was very good. We especially appreciated that every day the ship matched their menus/cuisine and wines to the countries we were traveling through. The food was uniformly good as were the wines. It was especially nice to go to the lounge after a days touring and sit and have a glass of wine or cocktail complimentary instead of always having to pay. And the music both for listening and dancing in the evening was an added treat.

All four of us thoroughly enjoyed this trip and look forward to another Uniworld voyage in the future. I would recommend them without reservation.

Cabin Review

Stateroom with French Balcony

Cabin 2

The cabin was a bit small but adequate and nicely appointed. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. Bathroom amenities were very good as well. Overall, a nice cabin.
