Whenever writing or reading any cruise critic member reviews, we should all try to think of the Olympic Games. That is, subtract the FANTASTIC reviews as well as the NEGATIVE ones such as, "I will never sail 'abcd' cruise line again!" reviews.
Having said that, as for my personal experience, my mother, twin seven-year-olds and I sailed on the NCL Getaway from October 24-31, 2015.
Just a couple of Cruise Critic things before I commence my own person subjective review.
Cabin Review
Family Mini-Suite with Balcony

Rectangular. Narrow. Sofa bed interferes with easy access to right side of closet. Balcony is incredibly small! It only accommodated two chairs and a mini table. The Haven rooms we saw on our cabin crawl were okay but not worth the $1925 quoted.
