This was our first trip to Europe and the wife and I went with my Brother and his wife. We arrived in Basel on Thursday the 1st and spent two nights at the Basel Hotel which was a great place to stay. We boarded the Boat on Saturday and was greeted very warmly by the staff. The food on the trip was better than most of the larger cruise lines that I have been on and the fresh baked bread daily was a treat. The room was a little small and the next trip we will probably go one level up. Only complaint I had is that the bed mattress was a little lumpy, but we did not stay in bed long as we were always on the go. The excursions were great and we took a couple of extra trips one to the Audie Murphy Museum and one for a dinner out. Both were terrific. Our Cruise Director Nick was a hoot and very accommodating to all of the guest needs. A great singer and comedian also. We are looking forward to taking another River Cruise in the near future,.

Cabin Review

French Balcony

The cabin was a little small but the bath room was adequate. The sliding glass door made things a little better. Would have liked a chair to be able to sit on as all we had was the bed .

Port Reviews

Basel

We arrived a couple of days before the cruise and were able to tour the city on our own. Great place and great people but the prices are very high for food and lodging.
