We have traveled on over 30 cruises. This was our first experience on Celebrity. The good were the employees and their friendlieness. The lunch buffet was very good The entertainment was okay. Many of the entertainers came from England. The French Onion soup in the Tuscan Grille was great. The bad: A thick layer of dust under our bed. We found a memory card under the bed that someone had dropped on the carpet. The dinner menu entrees, in the anytime dining room, were no better or different than Holland America or Princess except Celebrity did offer escargot and French onion soup every night. We ate at Ocean Liners, a pay for restaurant ($50 per person discounted to 50% off), and the service and food were so poor our account was credited. The internet was extremely slow. When selling the internet service, the employees lied about the speed. There were occassional toilet odors in the hallways. The breakfast buffet food, service, and experience level of the employees who prepared eggs, was not very good. The Ugly: The itinerary was changed, supposedly at the last moment. We learned from a tour guide on one of the Greek Islands that we visited in lieu of Israel, that 3 weeks before we sailed the Greek tour company knew we were going to visit the Island. The deliberate deception on the part of Celebrity, was despicable.
