I'll summarize the suggested topics: this is our 12th cruise with Celebrity (X). We always book a suite category and, on Reflection, once again booked a Signature Suite (4103). Our cruising style is to relax, eat (love the specialty restaurants) and enjoy days at sea reading, relaxing and going to the gym (just to work off a fraction of the calories). We don't care about the entertainment or activities and the only time we are in the Theater is for the muster drill. We play the casino a little and rarely do any shopping onboard. Our approach to food: is it better than I would be eating if I were home?

So you're wondering what the MAJOR failure was. In a word - Luminae.

But before I get to that a brief summary of the rest of the ship. All the specialty restaurants ranged from very good to excellent. The Oceanview Cafe provided such a wide range of foods that we cannot imagine anyone NOT being able to find something to eat. Seriously, nothing. During most lunches at the OC I would say there were not enough bar servers walking around taking drink orders and there were far too many Specialty Restaurant staff selling dining packages. We drank only in Michael's Club (a Suite Experience perk) with an occasional drink bought at the Pool Bar. The facilities of the ship are all well maintained. From the friendly captain (Captain Peppas) to the Hotel Director (Niyazi) to the Food and Beverage Manager (Srdjan) to the Guest Relations Manager (Julie) to our Butler (Edwin) to our Michael's Club Concierge (Maritza) and our Cabin Attendants (Euglio and Iman) everyone was friendly, smiling, professional and caring.

Cabin Review

Signature Suite

Cabin SG

This is our "go to" cabin on Reflection. Located down a private hallway on Deck 14, these 5 cabins feature floor to ceiling windows (the ceiling are 10' tall), large deck with two chaise lounges, a large round table and an awesome outdoor shower/jacuzzi. The bathroom is large and there is plenty of cabinet and drawer space. Celebrity has contracted with Glichrest and Soames to offer a X branded amenity line, replacing the Bulgari bath products.

Port Reviews

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Tee shirt store upon tee shirt store with some jewelry thrown in. Some people enjoyed tours. We spent an hour around the port and got back on.

Labadee

Great day in an over-water cabana. Very strong sun, so we stayed in the shade most of the time. Lovely beach and warm water.

St. Martin

Amazing day on Bikini Beach (Orient Beach). Beautiful sun and great lunch. The constant hawking by the locals is easily brushed off with a "no thank you".
