We were excited about our first cruise and I had read great things about NCL and the Star being out of drydock just a few months prior.

The embarkation in Tampa was long and slow, even though we arrived at our assigned time, it still took well over 2 hours! The agents were primarily new, our agent said it was her first day! She had no clue!

Once we got on the ship, we headed to O'Sheehans....big mistake! They just brought food out and asked each table "is this yours?" My husband said I'm taking whatever they brough out next when his order of wings hadn't come after 45 min. We also ordered a couple of drinks, after waiting and asking for them again, we were told they couldn't serve any alcohol yet. Read more
