I had arranged to arrive in Los Angles at 8:30 am Friday morning. Because of a series of delays I arrived at 4pm on Friday afternoon.
I was to go on the Warner Bros studio tour in Burbank on Friday morning, so I went Saturday morning instead. If someone is interested in movies I feel they should take a tour at one of the studios. I went on the Universal tour a few years ago. The Warner Bros tour was much better. Paramount also has a tour which, from what I know, is not as good as the other two. For all the studio tours you should not expect to see, in person, someone that for you is a "movie star". The tours are for showing how a movie is made. However, they do point out where certain memorable senses in movies were made.
At Warner Bros, picture photos were allow everywhere, except when told not to take them. Taking videos with camera was not allowed anywhere. The tour group, walked around a couple of the street areas used for filming. The tour went into a building to show there was nothing inside and the front of the building was used as background for filming outside. A second building at the corner had an area went inside, the size of a small store. Filming could be done inside this area. The group walked through any alleyway and was explained which movies used the alley for filming. The group drove by a street with homes, porches, and front yards. Here the group was told what scenes from movies used the front porches and lawns.
Walked around beach area near port.
