What a wonderful way to spend our first time on a Viking tour cruising down the Rhine. The crew was truly outstanding catering to our needs. We would begin the day having a delicious personal breakfast before our tour. Judy who individually made omelets would say sit down Miss Barbara and I will bring your vegetarian omelet to you. After a fantastic breakfast , we would begin one of the many tours with guides from each region who gave us an informative tour. Thus, we would return to the ship and have a light lunch buffet which we enjoyed on the sunny deck with the soup of the day etc. The piano player played wonderful songs during lunch and dinner. After lunch, we could go on another tour, sight see by ourselves or just stay on the ship and relax. The Captian and Engineer were very informative and gave tours of their areas.

Each evening we dinned with gourmet meals and the pleasant company of other passengers which we met on the ship. One of the most fun times that we had was an optional typical German dinner and folkloric entertainment along the Rudesheim's lively Drosselgasse. We danced and sang the night away. We also enjoyed the scenic coach excursion through Germany's Black Forest. All the tours were worth while. We can not say enough about how friendly, helpful, and attentive the crew was to our needs. They were always willing to lend a helping hand, They even made embarking and disembarking the ship easy which was a real chore. On the top deck of the ship, were chairs to relax on , a walking deck, and a place to practice putting for golf which we loved and practiced daily. Great fun! This is just the beginning of many future Viking tours for us to embark on! Thanks to all on Kvasir! Great job!
