KLM was singularly unhelpful at every turn: wrong gates posted, cancelled flights, delayed flights, misconnections. We missed Budapest altogether. No advance warning by Viking of the possibility of a ship swap (which had happened several times before in the season). However, the staff on TOR were all outstanding. Dining room man knew everyone's name by the end of the first day. They couldn't do enough for us. The food was excellent, every meal. The guides for the local tours were exceptional, each and every one, especially in Passau. The VAR wasn't quite as good, but still fine. We have heard back already from Viking about the mishaps along the way and we will probably accept their offer of another cruise with a discount.
Excellently maintained. Couldn't improve on anything.
