This was our second cruise on Celebrity Infinity and it was another good one. The ship had just undergone 2 week drydock for some maintenance. It was mostly unchanged from our previous experience from earlier this year. The Main dining room food is enjoyable and the buffet varied and interesting. We ate all breakfasts and lunches here. We did not pay for the specialty restaurants but they were full of happy diners. There is some noticable wear on the chairs in RendezVous lounge but once the entertainment starts, who cares. Cafe al bacio is still serving amazing coffee and pastries with a large selection. They will even make what you want if it is not on the standard coffee menu. Only compaint regards the pool bar. Service was so SLOW it was totally not acceptable. 6 bartenders working could not serve a beer in less than 10 minutes on 4 separate occasions. Dont know what the problem was, but they were busy doing something and looked very stressed. Maybe a system review is in order.
The entertainment was good to excellent with variety from comedy to amazing gymnists and much more. Disembarkation was slow but not confused. Not enough agents to keep the Customs and Immigration lines moving well.
In summary we look forward to another celebrity cruise in the future.
Good storage and closet space. Large round window. The beds were comfortable and the cabin steward was friendly and kept the place spotless and well supplied.
We are familiar with Cozumel from other vacations. It is an active and exciting port. Our group chose to walk around the town square and malecon for shopping and people watching. We did not book an excursion
Jolly Roger Catamaran Snorkeling tour was great! New equipment in good condition. Good food and rum punch.
After $3. transfer to the Fisherman's village we spent some quality time at Blue Kay beach restaurant. Hugo was delightful and the beach is beautiful. No charge to use the palapas, chairs, changing rooms. Just order something and enjoy the very pretty beach and landscaping. Look it up and be glad.
We spent a precruise night at Embassy suites hotel and shuttled to the port.
