Royal Princess Review

A very good cruise, but why was there only a limited supply of fruit on board?

My wife and I are long time customers of Princess Cruises and this cruise was our first as Elite members of the Captain's Circle.

This was our first cruise on the Royal Princess and we found that the facilities on board were excellent. We had a balcony cabin on Riviera Deck. The cabin was in the centre of the ship and the lifts were close to our room. Although we had to walk to the stairs this did not provide us with a problem.

There are two downsides to the design of this ship. Firstly, there are no stairs in the centre of the ship which means that you had to walk to either end of the ship to go up the stairs. In addition. the Promenade deck is a joke. If you wanted to walk the deck then you had to go to the very top deck where the walking area was exposed to the sun and during the day it was very hot and uncomfortable.

Cabin was a nice size and was excellently situated within the ship.

Port Reviews

Grenada

Excellent and good value for money. Could have done with a little more time at the final stop The Fort but that was a minor problem.

Princess Cays

A complete and utter waste of time
