Back to back cruise to Asia, great port destinations but spoiled by missing Broome.
RC just advised us on embarkation they were not going to Broome ( this was the major reason many people booked this cruise ), handled very poorly by RC. Most people on the ship were upset with rubbish being broadcast by the captain about unforeseen tides etc, cruise critic started a letter to RC complaining of the poor handling and lots of people signed if they could find out about it ( no help from RC of course ). In the end RC just washed their hands of any responsibility and no compensation was offered, just as expected.
The visits to the ports were good ( if you organized it yourself that is, otherwise you were ripped off badly by RC organized tours ).

Cabin was fine except for small shower and no fridge, usual for this class of ship internal cabin.
Port Reviews
Perth (Fremantle)
Fremantle is easy to access from Perth by train and is not far from station.
There are lots of things to see around the area and has two free buses around the area.
Geraldton
We walked all around the area, clean and modern town now and waterfront has lots to see. Great stop.
Bali
Can get taxi tours around the area, not too expensive, especially if you team up with another couple and of course negotiate your costs and pay when back to ship or at drop off in Kuta. Very busy roads and you have a hair raising trip usually. But it's a good day and has lots to see out of Kuta, the taxi drivers know where to take you, but don't let them just take you to where they want you to buy things and get kick backs.
Lombok
Just organize a taxi tour, lots to see, traffic is better.
Langkawi
Just take a taxi tour, lots to see, taxi drivers have lists of places to see, taxi's are good value, just negotiate.
Kelang (Kuala Lumpur)
Taxi tours are a good way to get around, reasonable prices and as usual about 20% of ship tours.
