We are four adults who sailed with the Silver Galaagos in October. We were looking for wildlife, comfortable beds, good food, and comraderie. We found all that plus an excellent crew and National Park Guides. None of us had sailed with Silverseas before, so we have nothing to compare our voyage with. That being said, we were extremely happy. The food was delicious and plentiful: breakfast is a buffet but with customisable options, lunch was a salad/dessert buffet with additional grilled main dishes, fabulous daily variations of ceviche, dinner was either a multiple course meal in the main restaurant or a grilled daily special outside on the deck. All had numerous options for the Sweet Tooth. The staff (wait staff, cabin staff) were very friendly and helpful--would do whatever they could to meet your requests. They learned our names and our preferences within days.

The National Park Guides were all very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. They had great insight and knowledge into geography, history, biology, botany, and natural history of the Islands. We enjoyed each and every excursion. In addition, the afternoon lectures were delivered by a very experienced and enthusiastic professional.

Our cabin had a small balcony. It was comfortable and spacious enough for the little time we spent it in.
