We have taken 5 or 6 NCL cruises can't think of them all right now, but we have met some great staff and crew members. What really amazes us is that after brief meetings around the ship, they would great us by name. On our last GETAWAY cruise, the one written about here, with about 4,500 guests on board, how could they know who we are? Most impressive.

The GETAWAY is a beautiful ship and the water slides are not to be ignored by adults. We enjoyed sliding down them many times and with no or minimal wait times. The pool at times got crowded but still room to enjoy it.

Our room steward could not have been more pleasant and greeted us each day with a cheery hello. The dining room wait staff was like the best of restaurants; attentive and accommodating. But unlike those fancy best restaurants, if you wanted another portion, it would be brought to you. (The food was superb and we were very satisfied with the one serving.)
